Remember the 3 P’s - Prepared, Punctual, Professional
Arrive Prepared -
1) Bring multiple copies of your CV
2) Bring a list of qualifying questions
3) Research information regarding the prospective hospital or group
4) Know your salary requirements
Punctual - If you will be flying make sure that you will have ample time for flight delays and cancellations. Have directions to your hotel, and meeting place, know who you are meeting with and their contact information, and exact time of the interview. Be on time. If you are delayed contact the interviewer with as much notice as possible. With security, weather and other factors out of your control, it's best to arrive the night prior to the interview.
Professional - Dress appropriately. We recommend men wear a gray or navy suit, white shirt, conservative tie, matching socks and polished shoes. We recommend women wear a conservative business suit, pants or skirt, blouse, stockings, and good shoes. Most importantly always keep a positive attitude, confident but not overly so, stay calm and in control regardless of how comfortable or casual the setting. It is not advised to drink any alcoholic beverages during the interview process.
Possible Interview Questions -
